Some Luxury Caribbean Holiday Ideas

Have you ever heard people saying that they're planning on taking a holiday in the Caribbean, but then unsure as to where in the region they're going? It's a common dilemma - the Caribbean is a great draw to tourists, with its 10 hours a day of sunshine and pristine beaches, but actually picking which island is right for you can be tricky. It would take more space than I have here to write a guide to each of the islands, so I've decided to list a handful of family Caribbean holiday suggestions to give you an idea of what to expect from this beautiful and relaxed area of the globe:

Barbados Sports Camp

If you're planning on taking a family Caribbean holiday in August, then the free Barbados Sports Camp is a must for your children - allowing you to enjoy the sun and the sand in peace! Families may book up to four children between the ages of 9 and 17 for 1 to 5 days at the camp, where up to 100 children can get tuition from former professional players of Netball, Football and Cricket. Dividing the kids up by age group, and with the emphasis placed squarely on fun, this year's coaches included Alan Hanson, Mark Bright, David Seaman, Sir Geoff Hurst, Mike Gatting, Olivia Murphy and Fiona Murtagh. With that pedigree of coaching it's sure to not only be fun, but educational as well!

Explore Revolutionary Havana

The infamous Cuban revolution is still felt in every aspect of Cuba, from the attitude of the locals, to the propaganda and the statues. No more is this felt than in Havana, where Castro delivered many a memorable (if very long!) speech, and where there's a monument to the failed revolutionary hero of the 19th century - Jose Marti. The Plaza de la Revolution is the place to go to get a feel for the vibe, where the iconic picture of Che Guevara is a truly imposing presence. Aside from that, the various museums of the city have all kinds of artifacts and items pertaining for the time, allowing even non-islanders to get into the revolutionary spirit on a Caribbean holiday!

Stay in an Antigua Spa Hotel

Antigua has some of the best spa hotels in the world, so if decadent relaxation is something you look for from a Caribbean holiday, then look no further. Amongst the more memorable options are being worked on by two therapists with a 'Synchronized Massage' at Carlisle Bay, or enjoying a Caviar and Pearl Facial at The Verandah Resort & Spa. The perfect way to unwind after a 'hard' day at the beach!

See the Grizzly Side of Jamaican History

Jamaica is widely known as a land of sand, sea and good times. However, if you want to see the grizzly side of the island's history, not only can you visit the site of the last pirate execution, you can also dare to take the tour of Rose Hall - the former home of the infamous Annie Palmer. Immortalized by the late Johnnie Cash in song form, the legend of her life is different from every source, but the general gist involves a background in Voodoo, the murder of 3 husbands and relationships followed by the murder of many of the slaves on the building's plantation. She was then herself murdered as an act of revenge. The reason why the house is still a highlight for luxury Caribbean holiday makers? Because many visitors report that the building is haunted by her from beyond the grave, despite the tomb she's buried in being designed to keep her there for ever. Visitors report voices, bloodstains, footsteps, music and babies crying upon visiting the house, and many more see things in the photographs that they don't recall seeing at the time!

Go Diving with Sharks in the Bahamas

In 1877, Mark Twain commented "You go to heaven if you want, I'd rather stay here" in his first visit to the Bahamas. It certainly is that beautiful, and the experience is no less pleasant over 100 years later! If you want something a little more challenging, then Shark Diving is something that many will see as closer to Hell than Heaven Still for those who can stomach it and aren't put off by the warning instructions ("never move your arms away from your body!"), there's some fantastic photo opportunities, and of course a memory and anecdote that will last long after your Caribbean holiday is over!

Of course, in addition to this there is plenty of cross over - all the islands have splendid beaches, all of them offer conditions ideal for scuba diving and all of them have their fair share of nightlife for the visitors. Whatever you're looking for, you're sure to find it on a family Caribbean holiday - whichever island you end up visiting.

Get Out of Credit Card Debt as Soon as Possible

Using a credit card wisely, one can definitely take advantage of a lot of benefits like bonus points, airline miles, and a cash back you most need in times of emergency. Use it haphazardly and this could be your nightmare for a long time.

For some irresponsible debtors, their financial situation is very much ruined by the bills that haunt them every due dates. It has come to a point where it is so difficult to get out of their credit card debt trap. This is actually the product of year of financial unreliability or simple ignorance.

Credit card companies like it when you carry a big balance in your statement and only pay the mandatory minimum every month. Unfortunately, you will most probably expect to pay that card off for an extended period of time. For some cases, it even takes them decades to pay off a substantial balance. Credit card companies are laughing their way with bigger profits because you are like a cash cow to them. But will you simply be still ignorant over the matter?

Here are simple methods how to get rid of debt as soon as possible. The initial step that you have to take is set your mind to being credit card free. Cut up all your cards except one just for emergency, but still don't use this one for now. At first, this is terribly difficult. You must have the enough determination to get yourself out of this debt trap. Or else, this will be your death trap soon.

When you don't have any access to credit cards, you don't get any deeper into debt. The one that you saved should not be placed in your wallet. Have it in a safe place and should be used only for emergency cases.

Now, when the statements arrive, pay much more than the minimum balance. Ideally, pay at least twice the minimum payment due or more. This lets you deduct the principal to gradually reduce the interest over the balance. Initially, you may not see a considerable difference but with a few moths of timely payments, you will eventually notice those balances come down.

When you are dealing with multiple cards, here's a great tip. Prioritize and concentrate most of your money to the payment of the card with the highest interest. Temporarily, you can have minimum payments for the other cards. When that prioritized car is fully paid, concentrate on the next card with second highest interest and so on. You will finish paying your balances faster with this method compared to paying only the minimum.

Choose not to be tricked by the credit card companies. Decide now and get out of your debt. Work hard and smart towards paying your cards as much as you can. Your goal is to get out of debt as soon as possible and by deciding now, you save your butt from a big financial disaster.

The Key to Make Money in Currency Trading

How do you really make money in forex trading? Some people believe the key is to predict the market. They work day and night with trends, charts, Elliott Wave methods, Fibonacci methods, fundamental analysis, technical analysis, intuition, dreams, you name it. They work very hard to predict the exact moment to get in and the exact moment to get out.

Do they make money? Hardly.

The key to make money in currency trading is not predicting the markets, but having a good strategy to manage the cash flow and control the risks of losing money.

You can have the most detailed charts, the best software on Earth, the most specific fundamental and technical analysis, the best tools ever, but if you do not have a money and risk management strategy in place, all your tools are not worth much. You will most likely to lose money in your trades.

This is the difference between a successful trader and an unsuccessful one: the ability and the discipline to set and to follow sound strategies to manage your money and control your risks.

What I mean by discipline is to know when to enter the market and why, when to exit it and why, and where to place stops and why.

Every successful trader watches his/her cash flow and the level of risk on each trade, not if the indicators look good or not. A successful trader is in control of his/her money and risks, not of the market and its behavior.

If you are new to currency trading, it might be difficult to follow a money management discipline. But it is precisely how you manage your cash flow what will give you the confidence and the wisdom to trade the markets correctly, minimizing your risks of losing money.

It is not possible to predict the currency trading market. Nobody can do it. But what you can do is trade the market correctly applying sound strategies and getting rid of emotions like anxiety, fear or greed. Those emotions only make you react and make decisions by impulse, with no reasoning, and just hope your reaction was the right one. Most likely it was not.

My best advice to you is, detach yourself emotionally, set up a sound money management and risk strategy, be in control and start making money today!
